Welcome to the Winter Haven Wildlife Habitat Area Team website!
The mission of the Winter Haven Wildlife Habitat Area Team (WHWHAT)
is to educate and assist citizens in and around the greater Winter
Haven area with gardening for wildlife efforts at home, school,
work and/or places of worship.
Gardening for wildlife may include butterfly gardening, xeriscaping,
aquascaping, attracting birds, reducing the use of fertilizers,
pesticides and herbicides, reducing lawn areas while increasing
mulched garden areas, reducing irrigation usage and much, much more.
Thank you for visiting this site. Please do not hesitate to contact
a Winter Haven Habitat Steward for the National Wildlife Federation
with questions or requests for assistance with your project.
